Navac Builders, Inc. successfully completed the “Day Two” scope of work for the Queens Community House, a nonprofit serving the Forest Hills community. This project included the full demolition and removal of hazardous materials from a 14,000-square-foot roof, followed by the installation of a new roof membrane, RTU, and associated ducting. Significant improvements were made to the building envelope, which included a new storefront system, windows, decorative aluminum paneling, and replacements for spandrel and masonry throughout. Additionally, the exterior park area was completely revamped, with new concrete and stone pathways, exterior lighting, furniture, and a full landscape replanting.
