Navac Builders, Inc. completed the “Day Two” scope of work for the Queens Community House, a non-profit facility serving the Forest Hills area. The scope involved the complete demolition and removal of hazardous materials from a 14,000 square foot roof and full installation of roof membrane, along with the installation of a new RTU and associated ducting. The building envelope underwent significant rehabilitation, featuring the installation of a new storefront system, new windows, decorative aluminum paneling, along with spandrel and masonry replacements throughout. The exterior space saw the replacement of the existing park area with new concrete and stone pathways, along with the installation of exterior lighting, furniture, and complete landscape replanting.
